About Us

New York City (NYC) presents a great potential for social unity due to its racial, religious, and ethnic diversity, as well as its abundance of resources and services. However, coexistence does not necessitate cooperation and the biggest challenge of working in NYC is promoting participation in place of tolerance. World Faith NYC seeks to engage local communities by bringing them together in service projects, thus promoting resource sharing and forming one supportive community.

The birthplace of World Faith, the New York City Chapter is the oldest and most active chapter of the organization. We are currently working on several projects such as the Emergency Rest Centers Program and InterACT in Manhattan that would help us strengthen the connections among the various Houses of Worship and the community in the borough. Please check back as we continue to add information on our current projects.
